Today Kooshan is a star. His 30 seconds of fame came about last weekend when my husband decided to create a mini video to promote the RSPCA cupcake day fundraising event that he will be having in his photography studio.
On Sunday we packed up 1 dog and 1 cat and travelled into the Photobat studio. Where we were met by Bruce who did all the video shooting and editing and Tiarne who helped out with animal & reflector control.
So after a few hours of footage shooting and persuading the dog that it was okay to take food off the table (Kaba is well trained when it comes to food), a few hot drinks and lots of cupcake eating, we have the final video of Kooshan.
No pets or people were harmed in the making of this video
Is the brain child of Caitlin, (editor of operation beautiful). The mission of this blog is to record posts of anonymous notes in public places conveying the message that we are all beautiful just the way we are. These notes are intended for others to find.
One day when I was searching for fellow sellers who lived in Tasmania, I came across The Rainbow Forest which is a cute little shop that sells bottle cap pendents, creative canvases and cute animal brooches. The thing that caught my eye with the store was the way that the items were photographed, I just love the background images.
Interview with Alison who is the creative designer behind The Rainbow Forest
How did you get started? I’ve always enjoyed art! As a kid I would spend hours drawing cute and strange little characters. & over the years I’ve always had numerous projects on the go. I thought it was about time I shared some with the world…
How long have you been creating your work for? I’ve been creating different things ever since I was little. But only started the rainbow forest this year!
Where can we find you work? At the moment my work is only available through my etsy site. therainbowforest but I’m actually in the process of starting my own business in Launceston selling my work and stuff from other local and international artists.
What’s your inspiration to creating your work? I’ve always loved unique one of a kind stuff… things that are not mass produced! Colour is a big thing for me…I love creating fun and colourful designs. Birds, tree’s, animals!
What’s the most favourite item that you have made? I would have to say the 1st ever bird canvas I made. Originally it was going to be for a market stall I was having but I couldn’t part with it.
What’s your favourite blog at the moment? Print and pattern. It’s full of amazing stuff!
I have pulled a muscle in my neck and have had to rest all day. I don’t have much movement in my neck at the moment and the doctor has given me Anti-inflammatory hopefully they will help.
A fan part of winter is being all rugged up in warm fluffy jumpers and waring funky jackets. Doing my usaual search around blogs and online shops I came across these finds that can add a bit more character to your outfit.
Well its another late night so I thought that I should put a post up, not much talking from me tonight. I will just leave you with some visual treats from my photography collection. These are a few cats that I came across while holidaying in Greece.
By the way I am a major fan of cats, if I was allowed I would probley have a lot more cats by now. I would realy like to own a Scottish Fold
