Last week the Tasmanian professional photography competitions were held,
I have to say that I am very proud of my husband who took out the following categories

2009 AIPP Tasmanian Wedding Photographer of the Year (sponsored by Bride Tasmania)
2009 AIPP Tasmanian Portrait Photographer of the Year (joint) (sponsored by Fuji/Photoforce)
2009 AIPP Tasmanian General Photographer of the Year (sponsored by The Edge)
2009 AIPP Tasmanian Wedding Album of the Year (sponsored by Seldex)
And was named the 2009 Epson AIPP Tasmanian Professional Photographer of the Year.

Every year Alan stresses out a lot to get the images ready for the awards, and it’s a full on process I pretty much don’t see him for a few weeks. I didn’t really know how much effort has to go into the final printed image until I watched the process for a bit this year, it takes hours of printing checking the print for flaws like colour quality & ink bleeds.

Weekend at the Niche Market

Had such a great time at the Niche market, it was so nice to have Tiarne helping out as well especially with sales and talking to people, was starting to find it a bit hard because I have a jaw problem at the moment (to put it simply one of the disks in the jaw joint has slipped forward which equals to me having lots of pain in the joint hence why talking lots just aggravates it, so I was not surprised that I was feeling very sick on the Sunday)

The only down side was I started to get a very bad migraine on the Sunday afternoon so I had to leave the packing up for my husband to do. Anyway he for got the table cloths (which he still does not know where they are) luckily our good friend Tara sent a text to let him know that he left it behind.

This time I purchased a few puddings from Poppleberry Puddings I have to say that they make the best ever sticky date pudding I have ever tasted so we had to get two of them.

it was nice to have my stall next to Tara Badcock and I was also just around the corner from Gemma who has Loz and Dinny, I also had Suse from Black Eyed Susie purchase an owl off me it was so nice to meet Suse I have read her blog a few times in the past. It is just so nice to be able to put a face to a name.

Big news

also on the Saturday I meet Leonie who owns Love and Clutter I have had stock in at love and clutter before but I have never had a chance to personally meet Leonie, so it was very nice to chat with her. I also got a massive order from Love and Clutter as well, so soon they will have some plush bunnies, plush kittens, bird pins, my trade mark plushie (snow people) and a nice assortment of my hand embroidered scarfs in adult and kid sizes.

as an end thought, why does my cat Kooshan have to be such a pain it does get hard trying to type when you have a cat that is insistent on laying over your arm when you are working at the computer.
